Dr. Kremer

Dr. Kremer has been a veterinarian and medical director at Northgate Animal Hospital for 18 years. He studied at The Ohio State University (2005 Graduate). He enjoys surgery and seeing the immediate improvement it can provide. He likes to be able to assist people with their pets to improve their lives. He likes to hang out with his wife, two daughters, 4 dogs, 3 cats, 1 horse, 1 pig, 16 goats, 35 chickens,5 ducks, and 5 fish aquariums.

Dr. Rock

Dr. Rock has been a veterinarian at Northgate Animal Hospital for 5 years. He studied at The Ohio State University. Originally from Northeast Ohio, Dr. Rock moved to Columbus in 2013 to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian, after almost 20 years working in advertising as a graphic artist. He completed his undergraduate in both the arts and biology and attended The Ohio State University to complete his veterinary degree. Dr. Rock joined the Northgate Hospital in the summer of 2018. Dr. Rock’s passions include all animals with a particular interest in geriatric medicine/welfare, rescue animals, small companion pets, and birds as well. Dr. Rock enjoys gardening in his free time, as well as, meditation, and recently has rediscovered his love for yoga. He and his spouse share their love together with their 5 senior dogs, 4 cats, 2 parrots, and 5 chickens.

Dr. Savini
After graduating from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990, Dr. Savini spent time practicing both in New Jersey and Ohio, gaining experience working with horses representing a wide variety of disciplines. He has since retired from equine medicine in 2023 but missed working with animals too much. Dr. Savini is now venturing into the small animal world by joining our team and enjoys spending time at home with this wife and their three children working on and around their farm in Troy, Ohio.

Jeffree has been a CSR/inventory manager at Northgate Animal Hospital for more than 10 years. Jeffree enjoys the challenge of working in veterinary medicine and she appreciates that there is never a slow or boring day when you work at Northgate. She loves when she can reunite a lost pet with their family by hunting down microchip info. She also loves trying to find affordable medications for our clinic and clients as an inventory manager. In her free time, Jeffree enjoys gardening. She considers herself a “plant hoarder” and can usually be found across the street at Lowe’s buying plants from the discount rack. In the evenings, she also enjoys playing fetch with her dog.

Dana has been a receptionist at Northgate Animal Hospital for 3 years. She studied at Centre College – BS Biology. She prides herself in positive interactions with pets and their owners. She appreciates being a part of the process of caring for pets and having a genuine impact on their care. She loves reading, knitting, gardening, and walking my greyhounds in her free time.

Courtney is our Practice Manager at Northgate Animal Hospital. She studied for 2 years at Morehead State University and 4 years at the University of Cincinnati. Courtney is the newest member of the Northgate Animal Hospital. She has spent the last 10 years working in the industry with previous experience working in both AAHA-credentialed emergency and specialty veterinary medicine. Courtney enjoys the bond she makes with not only pets but their people too. She holds a Fear Free certification and especially appreciates helping senior pets and those that are anxious and stressed during vet visits. Her superpower is meeting and collaborating with people. Outside the animal world, Courtney spends her past time reading new novels, visiting new wineries and breweries, spending time at home with her blended family of 6 and she enjoys traveling all over the world to experience different cultures.

Tina has been a veterinary technician at Northgate Animal Hospital for 23 and a half years. She studied at the University Of Cincinnati. Tina is the cat-wrangling queen of Northgate Animal Hospital. She prides herself as the #2 Catheter master and is known as the maintenance guru for our hospital. Tina likes being able to care for special needs cats and hospice cats as well. In her free time, Tina likes to avoid people at all costs by staying home with her husband and 8 furry felines.

Sara has been a registered veterinary technician at Northgate Animal Hospital for more than 17 years. She studied at Miami Jacobs Career College. Sara has always had a passion for animals ever since she was a little girl she was caring for all of our dogs and cats in her home. She takes pride because she worked her way from a kennel, a worker a receptionist, and now a registered vet tech. She loves continuing her education in veterinary medicine and enjoys dentistry and physical therapy with animals. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family and friends and loves to go shopping, go out to eat, hiking, and have new adventures.

Lindsey
Lindsey has worked in veterinary medicine for several years, beginning her career as a kennel care technician and advancing to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Her diverse experience spans large animal care, exotic species, and both emergency and specialty medicine. Lindsey has a strong clinical foundation and a particular passion for anesthesia and post-operative recovery, where she takes pride in ensuring the safety and comfort of her patients. Her dedication, adaptability, and broad skill set make her a valuable asset in any veterinary setting.

Emma has been a veterinary assistant at Northgate Animal Hospital for 5 years. She studied at Fairborn High School and Greene County Career Center. Emma has always had a passion for caring for animals. Emma was in 4H for 9 years taking on various projects which included dogs, rabbits, veterinary science, and others. Emma participated in skill-a-thons, judging animal events for dogs and rabbits as well! Emma’s joy is seeing her patients feel better after administering treatments. Emma likes to spend time with her husband her family, and her fur baby Daisy. Emma also enjoys listening to music, attending concerts, watching movies, going for long drives to new places, decorating for the holidays, and being a volunteer for Fairborn Junior Farmers 4H Club.

Tori has been a veterinary assistant at Northgate Animal Hospital for 4 years. She studied at Sinclair Community College. Tori is always ready for a challenge. Hardworking and eager to learn new things in this industry. She enjoys working with difficult cats and working with reptiles. Her plans are to one day become a certified veterinary technician. Tori enjoys collecting black cats, spending time with her family, hiking, all outdoor activities, and reading.

Roy has been a custodian/ handyman assistant at Northgate Animal Hospital for 6 years. He studied at Ravenna, Ohio. Roy enjoys being able to take care of the custodial problems around the hospital. Roy is the ultimate handyman who is able to help keep our hospital running in tip-top shape. In his free time, Roy loves spending time with his family and his many grandchildren.

For the past 13 years, Sawyer McAtee has been providing compassionate care to pets as a Veterinary Assistant with the Northgate Animal Hospital team. Went to Waterford High School in Waterford Ohio. He enjoys learning new things. Everyday working at the practice is different than the day before. Pets are his life, and he treats every one of the pets he encounters as if they were his own. He enjoys working in the veterinary field where he can be himself and watch young animals grow old and help the older animals have a peaceful and comfortable life. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife and son. Taking their dogs on hikes, fishing or kayaking. He also enjoys Professional Bull Riding Events, listening to country music, and building things put of wood. He loves being outdoors every chance he can get.

Dedicated to exceptional customer service, Amberly is committed to growing her knowledge in veterinary medicine while ensuring that every animal is treated with respect and compassion. Her thoughtful approach and eagerness to learn make her a valued part of the veterinary team.
In her time away from work, Amberly volunteers with local animal rescues, helping to provide care and support to animals in need.

Sammy has been a receptionist as Northgate Animal Hospital for 3 years. She attended and graduated from The Ohio State University. She enjoys making connections with owners and their pets. She is especially biased when it comes to cats and shepherds. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family and fur babies (Luna, Opal, and Ivy). In the summer you can find her at Kings Island, festivals, swimming, or first in line at all the haunted houses.

Sarah has been a receptionist at Northgate Animal Hospital for more than 15 years. She studied at Dayton, Ohio. She prides herself on being empathetic to a patient’s needs and she takes a lot of pride in being patient and understanding in regards to what her patient needs. In her free time, She enjoys exploring Pinterest for new ideas as well as she enjoys looking at antiques and gardening in her free time.

She has two dachshunds at home named Abby & Primrose. Stacy was stay at home mom for 7 years. She loves crocheting, taking care of her plants, and spending time with her husband and three kids.

Kim has been a receptionist at Northgate Animal Hospital for more than 14 years. Kim has loved animals since she can remember. Sneaking strays into her home and hiding them from her parents. Kim’s first job was at the SICSA pet adoption center where she worked full-time as a kennel staff employee, and then became a Animal Care Supervisor. After 7 years she took time off to raise her family. When she started working at Northgate Animal Hospital it felt like she was coming home to a place where she felt she had always been. Kim likes to watch scary movies on Netflix in her free time. She also likes to shop antiques and thrift stores and spends time with her two daughters.
